I regret not being able to attend the Gaza session of the Russell Tribunal on Palestine in September. As a co-author both of ‘An open letter for the people in Gaza’ and ‘A tapestry of Palestinian life: remembering Samar Alhallaq’, I have a very personal as well as general concern about the massacre in Gaza.  I wish the Tribunal fortitude in calling to account those responsible for this and other continued abuses of the Palestinian people.
